What is the Spatz3 Adjustable Balloon System?

The Spatz3 Adjustable Balloon System is a non-surgical weight loss system. This innovative balloon is the world’s only adjustable gastric balloon, and it boasts the highest weight loss results and success rates. FDA Clinical Trials have shown that Spatz balloon patients lost five times as much weight as patients who tried to lose weight with diet alone.

The Spatz balloon is a small, silicone balloon that is placed into the stomach. It is filled with sterile, harmless saline, which causes patients to feel full more quickly and thus eat less. In the early stages of treatment, patients who experience discomfort or balloon intolerance may have the balloon size adjusted to make it more comfortable. What Happens During The Procedure?

You will be placed under mild sedation to begin the process. From there, the deflated balloon is carefully placed with a flexible camera that is threaded down the esophagus and into your stomach. The balloon is then inflated with saline until it’s roughly the size of a grapefruit.

Who is an Ideal Candidate For Weight Loss With The Spatz3 Balloon?

Have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30 to 40
Would like to lose 20-50 pounds
Have not had prior stomach surgery, such as hiatal hernia repair
Have not had prior bariatric surgery, including: lap band, sleeve gastrectomy, or gastric bypass.
Are not using anti-inflammatory medications (such as aspirin or ibuprofen) daily
Are not pregnant or breastfeeding
