Adjustable Gastric Banding (Lap-Band and Realize Band)

Adjustable gastric banding. In this procedure, a hollow band made of special material is placed around the stomach near its upper end, creating a small pouch and a narrow passage into the larger remainder of the stomach.

Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy

Gastric sleeve surgery, also known as laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy and bariatric sleeve surgery, is a much newer procedure than gastric bypass. In it we remove 75-80% of stomach volume while maintaining natural openings into and out of the stomach, thus causing the stomach to resemble a sleeve.

Endoflip During Lap-Band Surgery to Increase Your Weight Loss

The New York Bariatric Group is pleased to once again be the first Practice in the entire Northeast of the United States to introduce a new technique to improve weight loss in adjustable gastric band patients called the Endoflip.
